Ephesus Biblical Private Tour
This tour is designed for cruise guests and includes visits to Ephesus Ancient City, the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, the Ephesus Museum, and the Temple of Artemis.
Our tour starts with Ephesus Ancient City, one of the best-preserved Roman cities. It is an important place where Saint Paul preached and is mentioned in the New Testament. Inside Ephesus, we will also visit the Terrace Houses, which were luxury homes of rich families. These houses have beautiful mosaics, frescoes, and one of the first central heating systems. Terrace Houses require an extra entrance fee and are optional for visitors.
Next, we will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her last home. It is an important religious site and a place of pilgrimage for Christians.
After that, we will see the Basilica of St. John, where it is believed that the Apostle John was buried. This site holds great importance in Christian history.
For lunch, we will go to a local restaurant of your choice. After lunch, we will visit the Ephesus Museum, where artifacts from Ephesus are displayed.
Our final stop is the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After this visit, you will have free time for shopping at local stores.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Kusadasi Cruise Port.
